MANDALA PENDANT OR EARRINGS Make a personalized version of this wearable reminder of the cycles and circles of life and as a talisman to center you. Pick a date and get in touch. Classes are for three hours and can be held of an evening or on a weekend. Day time slots also available for work events or team building. Intro to foundation skills including:
Design
Metal characteristics
Sawing, filing, sanding, drilling, polishing, soldering, oxidizing.
Ever wanted to learn how to make your own jewellery? This taster class will introduce you to some of the foundation skills involved in jewellery making. The studio environment is welcoming and no previous experience is necessary.
Small class sizes to ensure you have personalised attention. All tools and some practice materials (copper, brass and aluminium) are provided. For this class, sterling silver is also provided.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Art with a Major in Gold and Silversmithing and a long history of teaching at both Griffith University and in private settings. I absolutely love exposing people to the possibilities of creating within the Contemporary Jewellery space.
*Due to small class sizes fees are not refundable. Absences are not refundable. Should minimum class numbers not be attained you will receive your deposit back or it can be held over to the next available class. If you purchase and then cannot attend the entire term you can pass it to a friend for the originally allocated term dates. Please advise of any substitution in writing with contact details of substitute student.
Classes are conducted in my working studio in Lismore NSW.
